Junior Web Designer

An opportunity has arisen for an artistic, dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Web Designer / Junior CSS Developer to join Zebra's team in the heart of Newcastle's City Centre.  The successful candidate will be responsible for designing fresh and interesting visuals for all types of businesses primarily using Adobe Photoshop and while a creative flair is essential, it would be a bonus if you are familiar with php, mySQL, and Adobe Flash or Swish.  You must also possess confident XHTML / CSS coding skills and be able to validate these to W3C standards.

Working within a great team, as a Junior Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing high quality websites working under the guidance of an experienced web developer.  It would be advantageous to have some commercial web design experience but regardless of your background, you will need an impressive portfolio of websites that you're eager to show. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to join a growing and exciting company where you will form a core part of the web design team and gain great opportunities to extend your portfolio of web work.  This role requires good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, as the successful candidate will be asked to liaise with clients.  You will be an imaginative, loyal and committed individual with a “can do” attitude who enjoys producing high quality design and multimedia work that will leave Zebra's clients saying “wow!”
